PROFILE – KOTA
Kota Watanabe is a photographer and D.O.P. who was born in Kanagawa, Japan in 1979 and studied photography and cinematography in Los Angeles. He has over 11 years of experience in the photography and film industries, both in the United States and his home country of Japan.
His sophisticated skills and unique style of artistic expression has brought him the opportunity to work with major clients across a wide range of industries, including Chanel, Maybelline, Richard Mille, Shu Uemura and Swarovski amongst others.
Kota also works on editorials and his works have appeared in magazines such as ELLE Japan, GQ Japan, Tokyo Wedding Collection and many more.
Currently based in Japan, Kota resides in a small, peaceful town just outside of Tokyo and enjoys taking long walks along the riverside on his days off.
